Gathering of Warbirds Reunion
October 23, 2021
4TH ANNUAL GATHERING OF WARBIRDS REUNION & CLASSIC CAR SHOW
October 23, 2021 | Madera, California
Sharon and I became involved with the Gathering of Warbirds Airshow in 1977 and sponsored by the Air Force Association. The gathering of warbirds started at Fresno Airport in 1972 but outgrew the airport by 1977. Many people behind the scenes volunteered their time and efforts because, like us, they loved it. A few of us volunteers, who are “older now” still love keeping those memories alive and it appears the pilots who are attending the Reunion feel the same way. We hope to see you at the next Warbirds Reunion in 2020 when we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II.
—Arnie & Sharon Schweer
