• Gates open at 9:00 a.m.
• Show Starts at 11:00 a.m.
• Show ends at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Parking
Free, on-base parking.
No overnight parking permitted.
Security
No weapons allowed. Vehicles and persons are subject to search.
Food / Drink
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Grills and cooking devices are not permitted. No glass bottles.
US Navy Blue Angels

Red Bull Aviation
The Red Bull Air Force is a team assembled from the most accomplished and experienced aviation experts on the planet. They specialize in highly coordinated aerial jump demonstrations and continually push the limits of human flight.
Rob Holland
Now in his 18th year as a full-time airshow pilot, Rob has distinguished himself by blazing a trail of innovation, developing maneuvers never before seen at airshows. “One of my goals is to take aerobatics to the next level,” Rob explains.
Virtual Aircraft Tours
Starbase STEM Zone has created a series of virtual aircraft tours for this year’s air show. “Igniting A Passion For Learning” by reviewing these tours in place of our usual static displays.
Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show
The Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show is organized and hosted by the 2nd Bomb Wing Barksdale Air Force Base with the support of the Shreveport-Bossier Military Affairs Council.
Held for the first time in 1933, the Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show is a full-weekend spectacular featuring displays of the latest, as well as historic, military and civilian aircraft and other related performers.
The Barksdale Defender of Liberty Air Show serves to enhance public awareness of U.S. Air Force capabilities and the Barksdale AFB mission through static displays and aerobatic performances. Likewise, it allows Shreveport-Bossier City to showcase Louisiana as the home of the B-52, pay tribute to service members, and support the recruiting arm of the United States Armed Forces.
