Gates open at 10:30 AM
To be held at Lenzen-Roe-Fagen Memorial Airport at 2450 540th St., Granite Falls, MN 56241.
ADMISSION:
Adults are $25 online (plus fees) & $30 in person
Current Military is $15 online & in person
Ages 10 – 17 is $15 online & in person
Ages 9 & under are FREE
All tickets are non-refundable.
There are three ways to purchase wristbands for admission to Pride of the Pacific Airshow. We offer tickets online beginning April 4th at- https://event.attendstar.com/…/ray-fagen-memorial-airshow/
Tickets will be scanned at the event and wristbands issued on Airshow grounds upon entry.
Wristbands may be purchased in person beginning June 6th during regular business hours at three Granite Falls, Minnesota, locations – the Fagen office at 918 Prentice Street (downtown), Fagen Fighters WWII Museum and Citizens Alliance Bank.
Tickets may also be purchased on the grounds the day of the Airshow.
We’d like to have accurate attendance numbers, so tickets for NO DOLLARS will be used for children 9 and under.
GENERAL AVIATION:
Due to lack of ramp space, all non-WWII era aircraft will be diverted to other airports – Montevideo (MVE), Marshall (MML), Olivia (OVL) are the closest. You will need to arrange for your own transportation to and from the Airshow. We will not be providing shuttle service.
PARKING:
Airshow parking has been expanded onsite. Follow signs and volunteers as you enter. Handicap parking is close to event entrance. Offsite opportunities for parking and bus shuttles to event will be available around Granite Falls. More information about this will be available at a later date.
ITEMS TO BRING:
Cameras (bags subject to inspection), sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, lawn chairs – (all bags will be subject to inspection) blankets, portable umbrellas – however you may not block the view of others, ear plugs, strollers. Masks due to COVID concerns are not required but may be worn as your needs or comfort dictate.
ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE BROUGHT IN:
No food or beverages, no coolers(exception is small coolers for infant formula or medical supplies), no loose ice, cans/glass, no alcohol, no backpacks(exception for infant diaper, supplies – will be inspected), no roller blades or similar, no tents or portable shelters, no pets, no knives or weapons, no smoking anywhere onsite. DRONES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED WITHIN 5NM OF THE AIRPORT PER FAA RULES.
An ATM machine is located in the Airport Terminal Building. This building also serves as the First Aid Station.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES:
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from a variety of vendors centrally located on the Airshow grounds throughout the event. Alcohol will be sold after the day Airshow beginning at approximately 6PM.
SEATING:
All seating is general admission. There is no opportunity for upgrades. WWII Veterans and their families will have special seating in and in front of the USO.
PRIDE OF THE PACIFIC SCHEDULE:
Gates open at 10:30 AM. At least one author will be signing and selling their book(s). Fagen Fighters WWII Museum will be open. WWII aircraft will be on display as well as authentic WWII vehicles and camps. WWII reenactors will be seen throughout the day. The museum gift shop will be open all day. At approximately 12:45 PM WWII Veterans will be interviewed with Q&A time. Airshow begins at 3 PM (All start times may vary due to weather). Fagen Fighters Warbirds will all fly as well as many visiting Warbirds. This year the airshow act second to none – Tora, Tora, Tora will be performing. The amazing Matt Younkin of Younkin Airshows will be entertaining us. We are thrilled to have Steve Hinton, of Planes of Fame performing aerobatics in Fagen Fighters P-38, Scat III. Our own Evan Fagen will be performing aerobatics in the Wildcat. Ray Fowler will be flying an aerobatic routine in Fagen Fighters P-51 Sweet Revenge. Warren Pietsch and Bernie Vasquez in the Hurricane and Spitfire from the Dakota Territory Air Museum will be performing. Wings of the North Museum Warbirds will be performing in the Airshow.
After the day Airshow, we are so excited to announce that country singer-songwriter Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry will perform at 7 PM. He was part of the duo of Montgomery Gentry until the untimely death of Troy Gentry in 2017. The Kentucky native has 20 plus charted singles and has earned CMA, ACM and GRAMMY awards and nominations. Following the Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry concert will be an amazing night airshow by Matt Younkin of Younkin Airshows! We are in for a treat and a great ending to an action-packed day!!
RAIN DATE:
In case of a rain out, the airshow will be held on Sunday, June 19th. Wristbands will be good for this day. The concert will go on rain or shine on Saturday, June 18th. In case of rain, more details about the concert will follow.
