Step into history at The Sixth Floor Museum
January 6, 2014 – Ladd Gardner Aviation Insurance and U.S. Specialty Insurance Company invite you to an evening of Dallas history at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 6:00pm. The museum is located in The Texas Book Depository where Oswald changed the course of American history from his perch on the sixth floor. Through photographs, documentary films, areas where evidence was found, eyewitness accounts and more you will experience the life and times of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, our 35th President. Explore history through one of the world's most significant repositories of original photographs, film and video footage, documents and artifacts related to that fateful day - a continually growing, collection of approximately 40,000 items.
Cocktails and light fare will be served on the 7th floor while the museum is open only for our guests. Transportation will be provided so you may return to the hotel afterward or explore the surrounding area – dozens of dining options await you in the historic West End. We hope you will join us for this very special evening.

About Ladd Gardner:
Ladd Gardner and Bob Cannon officially joined forces with the merger of the two companies just over one year ago. Gardner learned that his longtime business acquaintance at Cannon Aviation Insurance, Inc., a premier Warbird insurance agency, was considering retiring and was looking for qualified people to acquire his client base.
Not a lot of people, familiar with the Warbird community coupled with aircraft insurance, were available,” says Gardner, “so my background and insurance agency experience seemed to be a mutual fit with Bob’s company. Indeed our new partnership, with the merger having taken effect officially last year, seems to be working very well for us … and for our growing number of clients.” That 2012 merger date ironically carries historical aviation significance with it. December 7th!
With the merger, Ladd Gardner retains his official position as President. Angie Harris, who served Cannon Aviation Insurance as its President prior to the 2012 merger and is a NWOC Board Member has been a friend of Mr. Gardner’s for many years, and is the new organization’s Vice President.
USSIC Aviation operates through appointed agents throughout the United States. A full listing of these agents is located on the “locate an agent” tab. Financially strong, U.S. Specialty Insurance Company maintains ratings of A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best and AA (Very Strong) by Standard and Poor’s.
NWOC (National Warbird Operator Conference) is a unique educational conference offering programs to enhance pilot skill and knowledge, expand aircraft maintenance technician and restorer knowledge, develop awareness of medical and insurance facts, and address aircraft-specific topics to ensure continued flight for these unique historic aircraft.
